AEEE partners with peer industry associations in the energy efficiency cause. AEEE aims to compliment existing and ongoing efforts of various Industry Associations. AEEE upholds the view that sustainable market transformation can happen only through cooperation and healthy competitions. This means, even competitors need to acknowledge and be allies for a greater cause. With the looming climate change concerns, industry now is responsible for a larger cause which requires united stand. AEEE strictly abides by this understanding.
 
 
 
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)
 
  The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of industry in India, partnering industry and government alike through advisory and consultative processes.
 

 
Indian Green Building Council (IGBC)
 
  IGBC, which is a part of CII - Godrej GBC, is actively involved in promoting the Green Building concept in India. The council is represented by all stakeholders of construction industry comprising of : Corporate, Government, and Nodal agencies, Architects, Product manufacturers, Institutions, etc.
 

 
India Semiconductor Association (ISA)
 

  ISA is the premier trade body representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing ESDM industry and has represented it since 2005.
 

 
Australian Alliance to Save Energy
 
  The Australian Alliance to Save Energy is an independent, not-for-profit coalition of business, public sector, environmental, and consumer leaders dedicated to unleashing the potential of energy efficiency. Their mission is to make energy efficiency a priority in Australia's agenda, and to inspire real, measurable action amongst businesses and consumers.
 

 
Public Sector
 
EEE engages with utilities in order to identify and develop best practices and models for promoting energy efficiency and Demand Side Management. The core team of AEEE members - both industry members, as well as ASE and IRG – have actively engaged in DSM discussions and programme formulation, over the last decade or more.
AEEE aims to build a programme for capacity building of Regulatory agencies and utilities to evaluation and would be launching this in due course.
 
 
North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL)
 
  NDPL is serving its more than 1 Million consumers in tight regulatory environment with full commitment and sincerity to consumer satisfaction. With our continuous focus on operational excellence and commercial viability by the use of IT Automation, NDPL is able to keep its bottom-line in the healthy condition. We have been able to bring out the saving of more than Rs. 4100 Crores to Exchequer by adopting and implementing BPR in our area.
North Delhi Power Limited (NDPL) is a joint venture of Tata Power Company Limited and Govt. of Delhi (51:49) operating as a distribution licensee in North and Northwest Delhi. NDPL was instituted on July 1, 2002 and carries the distinction of being the first success story of Power Sector Reforms in India under a Public Private Partnership framework. NDPL is credited with record reduction of AT&C losses from 53% in 2002 to 15% as on March 2009. We are an ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and OHSAS 18001 company distributing power to a populace of 5 million spread over 510 sq km. Driven by the expertise of 3800 dedicated and experienced human resources, NDPL has created benchmarks in commercial and operational service delivery within just 7 years of its inception. The vast and vibrant resource of intellectual capital enables NDPL to deliver the best in every facet of business.
 

 
Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM)
 
  In the year 1999, Karnataka embarked on a major reform of the power sector. As a first step, Karnataka Electricity Board (KEB) was dissolved and in its place, the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) was incorporated. This was followed by the constitution of Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) in November 1999.
In the next phase of the reform process, the transmission and distribution business managed by KPTCL were unbundled in June 2002. Four new distribution companies were formed to distribute power in Karnataka.
Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has taken over the responsibility from KPTCL for the distribution of electricity in 8 districts and commenced its operations from 1st June 2002.
 

 
Research Centers
 
For energy efficiency technology penetration at the national/sectoral in India, AEEE partner ECO-III, has taken initiative to establish Regional Energy Efficiency Centers (REECs) to equip them to provide public education and awareness, facilitate demonstrations (showcasing products), promote technology development (incubation), and catalyze energy efficiency amongst the energy end-users and general public at large. These REECs have become AEEE members to strengthen AEEE cause:
