Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) with support from Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) is organising the “International Energy Services Conclave 2019 – Energy Efficiency for Business Competitiveness” on 6-8 March 2019, New Delhi, India and plans to make it a flagship event. The conclave aims to enhance business competitiveness through Energy Efficiency in India, to address critical issues and challenges of the EE market, to gain insights through the experiences of national and international experts to evaluate success factors in energy efficiency business strategy.
There lies a significant energy savings potential in Commercial, Industrial, Municipal and Agriculture sector end uses, and adoption of EE measures can result into 25~30% of electrical energy savings which translates into a capacity avoidance of 32 GW in the near term. A very large portion of the existing energy savings potential in these sectors can be captured and delivered through various energy efficiency services business models resulting in overall lifestyle upgrade for citizens and the mitigation of climate change impacts.
The 3-day content-rich programme is designed along a framework of “creating business competitiveness for consumers, enabling customer-centric energy efficient delivery mechanisms and creating a reliable & viable technological infrastructure with a credible database”. It examines the best practices and successes of today, within the context of emerging trends and technologies of tomorrow, to scale up and leverage the energy and non-energy benefits of EE well into the future years.
