TARGET AUDIENCE
 
The 3-day programme will provide a robust understanding of International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP), a worldwide M&V standard. Advanced M&V techniques are focussed for enabling enterprises and high intensity energy users to optimize their energy efficiency, with emphasis on the uniqueness of each project. The 2.5-day training is followed by a 4 hour examiniation. Successful candidates receive the Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) certification.

    • This training programme is meant to enhance the capacities of organizations participating in the PAT Scheme of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Govt of India. M&V Protocol and systems are part of the essential skill-set for the Designated Consumers – the Large-scale Industries - for baseline preparation, target-setting and Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) of energy savings under PAT.

    • The programme is highly relevant to energy-efficient project developers, implementers and practitioners, Carbon-reduction projects and CDM validators, Municipal/ULB engineers, and Certified Energy Auditors & Managers and those that want an in-depth understanding of M&V concepts-such as Financing agencies, Utilities (Demand Side Program managers and implementers), and large energy users (e.g., facility owners/managers), government officials and regulatory agencies. This programme will be of particular interest to Designated Consumers and Designated Energy Auditors under the Rs 30,000 crore PAT Scheme of BEE, Govt of India. 
 
The programme is organized by AEEE. IPVMP and the CMVP are proprietary of Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO)*. AEEE is the India affiliate of EVO. The training is conducted by EVO-certified CMVP Trainers.
