AEEE launched the first of its kind book, "Energy Efficiency in India: History and Overview" on Dec 15th, 2011, Delhi, at the IPEEC-WEACT Workshop –Energy Efficiency Policies in South Asia. The book was released by Shri Devender Singh, IAS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Power and Dr Ajay Mathur, Director General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency. The book “Energy Efficiency in India: History & Overview” comprehensively compiles India's Energy Efficiency history, policies and institutions, and showcases best practices from all sectors and industries. Based on thought leaders' and industry visionaries' insights and views, India's future pathways are outlined towards a more energy efficient economy.
