 Measurement & Verification Trainings

AEEE is the apex Affilate of Efficiency Valuation Organization (EVO) in India since 2009. The Affilate has conducted Measurement and Verification (M&V) awareness seminars and training-certification programmes on the International Performance & Verification Protocol (IPMVP). IPMVP  developed and conducted by EVO, is recognized as M&V standard in more than 40 nations world wide.

Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and the private sector have started adopting and promoting Performance Contracting in the ESCO mode and there is a large resultant demand for M&V expertise in the industry. IPMVP is the next step of Energy Audit exercise, beyond “Assessment for Energy saving Opportunities”.  IPMVP addresses the need for M&V guidelines that will create sustainable practices in the long run and provide knowledge enhancement.

International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol
IPMVP is a set of protocols developed under the US Department of Energy (DOE) to harmonize energy  Measurement & Verification Protocols for measuring energy and cost savings. Over 150 volunteers (owners, financiers, contractors, consultants, academics, utilities) from 15 countries wrote IPMVP for ESCO industry in 2001 and currently it is maintained by EVO.

AEEE organized the first ever Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) training and the certification exam, South Asia:
