Aparna leads the communication efforts at AEEE. She brings over 20 years of communications experience in the social and corporate sectors, which includes conceptualisation of branding campaigns for several corporates during her years at an advertising agency. She has led communications at GIZ India where she developed communication strategies for the Energy, Environment and Economic Development portfolios and worked closely with Indian and German ministries. She has represented GIZ India at strategic communications workshops in Germany and Thailand, where she presented communications innovation at GIZ India. She has also managed implementation of development sector projects in the education, health and democratic governance space as part of her work with Avantha Foundation and Centre for Learning Resources. Aparna holds a Master’s degree in Communications and Journalism from the University of Pune, and is an English Literature graduate from the University of Mumbai.
