Debanjan pursued his Mtech in Energy Systems Engineering from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun in 2019 after resigning as Senior Production Engineer from Great Eastern Energy Corporation Limited (GEECL) in 2017. During these two years of Mtech, he has worked diversely in many projects with clients like Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA), World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), GIZ, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), State Government of Assam and Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) in the sectors of Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency along with his course work, thus, accumulating a total work experience of almost 5 years.
He has worked with the Resource Conservation and Management Department at Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in 2018 for three months. And also with the Renewable Energy Department at ICF Consulting India Private Limited in 2019 for seven months before joining AEEE. Halliburton Offshore Services Incorporation is the other company in which he has worked for a year from 2013-2014 before joining GEECL. He pursued his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Assam Engineering College, Gauhati University in 2013.
